Is this you? Claim this profileMargaret P. Eagles has served as a district court judge since being appointed in 2009 by Governor Bev Perdue. She was subsequently elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2014, 2018, and 2022. In December 2023, she was appointed to serve as the Chief District Court Judge for Wake County, effective February 1, 2024. Her legal career began after graduating from Campbell University School of Law in 2000, starting as a judicial clerk for Justice George Wainwright at the Supreme Court of North Carolina. She then worked as an assistant attorney general for the North Carolina Department of Justice before entering private practice in 2005 with Larcade & Heiskell, PLLC, where she focused on civil litigation. Eagles earned her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 1995.
