Margaret H. Phipps is a dedicated Democratic candidate seeking re-election as the Register of Wills for Calvert County, Maryland. With decades of continuous service since her initial appointment in 1977 and election in 1978, Phipps has a deep understanding of probate law, accounting, and office management. She previously served as Chief Deputy Register before assuming her current role. Phipps attended Prince George's Community College and is a past president of the Maryland Register of Wills Association, where she has chaired the automation committee since 1992. Beyond her public service, she is an active member of her church and the Calvert County Commission on Aging.
