Mari-Lynn Poskin

Mari-Lynn Poskin is an incumbent Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives for District 20, first assuming office in 2021. Born in Merced, California, and an alumna of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, she chose Kansas as her home in 2002 for its strong communities and educational opportunities. Poskin advocates for common-sense, across-the-alise solutions. Her priorities include fully funding special education, addressing the teacher shortage, protecting public school funds, investing in mental health and addiction services, expanding Medicaid, reducing gun violence, and ensuring public safety budgets.
