Maria Littlesun

Maria Littlesun is a lifelong resident of Shelton, Washington, a mother, community advocate, and caregiver. She is running for State Representative to represent the 35th District, driven by a commitment to building stronger, more connected communities where every person is valued and supported. Her extensive background includes roles as a Social Worker, CNA, Peer Counselor, Crisis Responder, and Care Coordinator, experiences that have shaped her policy priorities. As a mother of a special needs child and caregiver to her ailing grandfather, she advocates for strengthening public schools, making life affordable for families, and providing comprehensive solutions to homelessness and housing. She believes current leadership has harmed vulnerable populations and aims to be a bridge between tradition and progress.
