Marjorie C. Decker is a Massachusetts State Representative for the 25th Middlesex District (Cambridge), serving since 2013 and chairing the Joint Committee on Public Health. Raised in Cambridge public housing, she was the first in her family to graduate from Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, earned a bachelor's degree from UMass Amherst (1994) and a graduate degree from Harvard's Kennedy School (2007), taught with Teach for America, and served seven terms on the Cambridge City Council, where she was the youngest woman ever elected. She was first elected to the Massachusetts House in 2012.
