Mark Alford is an incumbent Republican U.S. Representative for Missouri's 4th congressional district, serving since January 2023. A former television news anchor, he was born in Baytown, Texas. Alford is a member of the House GOP Rural Domestic Energy Council and chairs the House Small Business Subcommittee on Oversight. He advocates for year-round E-15 sales, champions funding for veterans’ benefits, and introduced legislation honoring teachers. He also supported disaster relief for Missouri and aims to strengthen the missing persons framework for those with disabilities. He voted against the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 but supported aid to Israel. He is 62 and is up for reelection in 2026.
