Mark Burrows has worked in economic and community development in Western North Carolina for over three decades. He has served on numerous regional boards, including AdvantageWest, the WNC Biotech Committee, and the Land-of-Sky Regional Council. Burrows earned a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Wake Forest University. He resides in Brevard with his wife, Betsy, and they have two adult children.
