Mark Hodgson is a candidate for Port Angeles City Council Position No. 3 in Port Angeles, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Mark Hodgson moved to Port Angeles with his family in the early 1990s and attended local schools, including Roosevelt Middle School and Port Angeles High School. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving on the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson and later as a Special Warfare Combat Crewman (SWCC) operator during Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism. He has worked as a law enforcement officer for two decades. Hodgson is also an active community volunteer, serving on the boards of Habitat for Humanity and the Peninsula Dispute Resolution Center, as well as the city's Parks Commission and the Charter Review Commission. His family has a history of military service, with both parents having served in the Marine Corps.
