Mark Lawson, born in 1980, is a Republican politician serving Oklahoma's House District 30 since 2016. He currently serves as Oklahoma House Majority Leader, a role he assumed in 2025, where he champions conservative policies, economic growth, and improved quality of life. Lawson is also the City of Sapulpa Economic Development Director. His legislative work has focused on tourism, including establishing the Oklahoma Route 66 Commission, and he authored the "David Beyer Act of 2026." An alumnus of Oklahoma State and the University of Oklahoma, he chairs the Select Committee to Review Mental Health Finances. He has a conservative record, notably supporting a restrictive abortion ban in 2022. He is a candidate for Oklahoma House of Representatives - District 30; his current term ends November 2026.
