Mark Michel is a pilot with Alaska Airlines and has served as a Key Pen Parks commissioner since 2019. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Willamette University and received pilot training through the U.S. Air Force. A resident of the Key Peninsula since 2002, he has been involved in the community by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Easter Seals Equestrian Therapy Program, and serving as the trails committee chair since 2013.
