Mark Robert Gordon is a Democratic candidate who was running for the U.S. House to represent Arizona’s 1st Congressional District in the 2026 election cycle. An attorney with over three decades of experience, he has championed voting rights and led voter protection efforts nationwide. Gordon is also a small business owner and a proud union member, serving on the Democratic National Committee’s Small Business Council and the Arizona AFL-CIO board. He advocated for policies supporting workers and small businesses, fighting to protect Social Security and Medicare. Gordon also delivered humanitarian aid to war-torn Ukraine on three missions. Though his campaign previously indicated an August 4, 2026 primary date, he later withdrew his candidacy and will not appear on the ballot for the July 21, 2026 Democratic primary.
