Mark Scott was elected to the Cheney School Board in November 2021 and currently serves as its President. He is a full-time member of the Washington Air National Guard, with over 27 years of military leadership experience. His background includes two years of teaching and coaching at St. Maries High School, and he holds teaching certificates in Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. Scott earned a bachelor's degree in education from Whitworth University and a master's in public administration from Central Michigan University. He is married and has three children enrolled in the district.
