Mark Walter Hollo is a candidate for North Carolina State Senate District 45 in Conover, North Carolina — 2026 Primary Election. Running as Republican.

Mark Hollo is a retired physician assistant and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he reached the rank of Captain. He earned a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University and graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University in 1983. Hollo worked as a physician assistant for 40 years, primarily in family practice and urgent care, and co-owned a medical practice. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the Lenoir-Rhyne PA Program. His political career includes serving in the North Carolina House of Representatives for three terms (2005-2006, 2011-2014) and on the Litchfield, IL Board of Education (1987-1990). He assumed office for the North Carolina State Senate, representing District 45, on January 1, 2025.
