Marta Trilles was appointed to the Bellevue School Board for District 3 in April 2025 to fill a vacancy. Born in Spain, she moved to the United States in 2017 and became a U.S. citizen in January 2025. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in marketing, and previously worked as a budget controller. Trilles has been an active community member, serving on the PTSA, the Bellevue School District's Equity Advisory and Advocacy Collaborative, and the City of Bellevue's Diversity Advisory Network. She is a parent of two Bellevue High School graduates.
