Marta Trilles was appointed to the Bellevue School Board for District 3 in April 2025. Originally from Spain, she moved to the United States in 2017 with her family; her two sons are graduates of Bellevue High School. Trilles holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in marketing, and previously worked as a budget controller. She has been an active community member, serving on the PTSA and the Bellevue School District's Equity Advisory and Advocacy Collaborative. She also previously worked for the school district, where she was instrumental in creating its first language access program.
