Marty Dunn is the incumbent Mayor of Waitsburg, having served from 2004-2006 and again from 2016 to the present. He also served as a Waitsburg City Council member in 2008 and from 2010-2016. He worked for the City of Walla Walla Fleet Services from 1986 until his retirement in February 2025. Dunn graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1976 and the Arizona Automotive Institute in 1977. His community service includes membership in the St. Francis Parish, the Waitsburg Lions Club, and the Knights of Columbus. He has also been a member of the Waitsburg Planning Commission and a volunteer coach for youth sports.
