Mary LaFleur has been an insurance industry professional for over 38 years, specializing in marine insurance. She is the owner and operator of ALT Insurance in Anacortes. A long-time boater, she has kept a boat in Anacortes since 1987 and moved to the city with her family and business in 2013. LaFleur has served for over 10 years on the Port of Anacortes's Marina Advisory Committee and 13 years with the Anacortes Marine Trades. In 2017, while serving as the chair of the Chamber of Commerce, she was instrumental in bringing the Anacortes Boat & Yacht Show to the Cap Sante Marina.
