Matt Cole is a candidate for City Council - Position No. 4 in Ridgefield, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-partisan.

Matt Cole has served on the Ridgefield City Council since being appointed in April 2022. He was appointed Mayor in January 2025. His professional background includes a 20-year career in business and creative marketing, and he is the vice president and creative director at Lockton, a global insurance brokerage. Cole also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, specializing in expeditionary intelligence. Before joining the City Council, he served on the Ridgefield Planning Commission, the Clark County Mosquito Control Board, and was a citizen advisor to the Budget Advisory Committee. He graduated from Whitworth University with a degree in political science. He moved to Ridgefield in 2017 with his wife and three children.
