Matt Gress, born July 8, 1988, is an incumbent Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 4 since January 9, 2023. He grew up in rural Oklahoma, the youngest of four, and holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Syracuse University, having also taught through Teach for America. Gress, who campaigned on common sense principles, is seeking re-election to the Arizona House in the Republican primary on July 21, 2026. He plans to focus on an education reform package during the 2026 legislative session.
