Matthew Hepner was elected to the East Wenatchee City Council on January 1, 2018. He moved to East Wenatchee in 2006. Hepner served in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation electrician, which included a tour in Afghanistan. After his military service, he completed an apprenticeship with Schmidt Electric for his journeyman's license. He is the Executive Director for the Certified Electrical Workers of Washington. He and his wife, Jennifer, have one daughter.
