Previously, Bierlein served as a Tuscola County Commissioner from 2013 to 2019, serving as vice-chair, and worked as an in-district director for the State Senate. A native of Tuscola County, he holds a bachelor's degree in organizational management from Spring Arbor University and resides in Vassar.
