Matthew Gonzales is an Air Force veteran who served in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He is currently serving his second term as a Council Member for the Village of Cimarron and has also served on the Cimarron Municipal Schools' Board of Education. Professionally, he is the Southwest State Affairs Director for HBW Resources, specializing in state policy and advocacy for natural resource development. He has been involved in shaping legislation related to agriculture and natural resources in New Mexico.
