Matthew Joseph McDonough is the Register of Probate for Plymouth County, Massachusetts, first elected in 2014. He grew up in Scituate and Kingston, graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School, earned a B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross (Phi Beta Kappa) and a law degree from Boston College Law School, and spent ten years as an Assistant District Attorney. He previously served on the Marshfield School Committee and the Marshfield Board of Selectmen, and resides in Marshfield with his wife Suzanne and their three children.
