Her professional experience includes roles as an elementary school teacher, factory manager, and a customer service manager for an e-commerce company. Before her election, she was active in community organizations such as Moms Demand Action and the PTA. Patton moved to North Carolina for high school and returned to the Triangle area with her family after the birth of her daughter.
