Meghann Foster

Meghann Foster, a Democrat, is seeking election to the Iowa State Senate for District 43 in 2026. A former Mayor of Coralville with over eight years of local government experience, she also served as a City Councilor and on various community boards focused on family services and violence prevention. Foster, who holds degrees from the University of Iowa and Washington State University, is running to bring community-informed leadership to Des Moines.
