Melanie Michele Miller

Melanie Miller is a Democratic Party candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives, seeking to represent District 124. She is on the ballot for the Democratic primary on May 19, 2026. Miller's candidacy is historic, as she is the first Black woman to run for the District 124 seat, which includes parts of east Athens, Winterville, Oglethorpe County, Taliaferro County, Putnam County, and Greene County. A small business owner and United States Army Veteran with a background in public service, Miller aims to bring an inclusive perspective to the state legislature.
