Melanie Tinsley has been a resident of Steilacoom since 2005 and graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. She has an extensive background in finance, banking, management, and entrepreneurship, and currently works as a Real Estate Professional. Her husband is a graduate of Steilacoom High School, and their three daughters attend district schools. Tinsley is actively involved in the community through the Cherrydale PTA, Kiwanis Club of Steilacoom, Steilacoom Chamber, and the Chambers Creek Foundation.
