Melissa Blasdel is a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities area and was appointed to the Pasco City Council for District 6 in October 2023 to fill a vacancy. Her term is set to expire at the end of 2025. In her professional life, she opened the first My Place Hotel in the Pacific Northwest in 2014 and currently works as a regional manager at Pasco Lodging Partners. Before her appointment, Blasdel served on several local boards, including the Pasco Chamber of Commerce and Pasco Youth Football, and has partnered with various city departments.
