Melissa Hahn is a nonpartisan candidate running for the Harford County Board of Education to represent Councilmanic District D in Maryland. First elected in November 2022, she also serves as the Vice President of the Board. Hahn holds early childhood education certification and spent over eight years teaching preschool. She also worked for sixteen years as a case manager for the Baltimore County Government. A dedicated parent advocate, she previously worked as a substitute teacher and served as Vice President of the PTSA at North Harford High School. Her platform focuses on transparency, school safety, and parental involvement.
