Micah Quinney Jones

Micah Quinney Jones is a U.S. Army veteran, attorney, husband, and father running to represent Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District. Born in Monterey, California and raised in Santa Clarita, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, San Diego (including a full-immersion year abroad in Granada, Spain) before commissioning as a U.S. Army officer in October 2011. He served predominantly in the 82nd Airborne Division, deployed to Afghanistan in 2014-2015, earned the Bronze Star Medal, and was honorably discharged as a Captain in July 2016. He earned his law degree at Northeastern University School of Law on the GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program, then practiced securities enforcement and litigation at Morgan Lewis in Boston. In 2020 he moved to Essex, Massachusetts with his wife, where their two children were born. He describes his political journey as 'from JFK Democrat to Common Sense Republican,' registering as a Republican in 2022.
