Born on July 21, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he graduated from Lookout Valley High School in 1977. He holds an Associate of Science degree in Business from Chattanooga State (1979) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (1987). Cameron assumed office as a State Representative on January 11, 2021, and is also described as retired.
