Michael 'Mike' Hargreaves was elected to the Town Council in 2021. His professional career was in education, where he worked for over four decades as a Social Studies teacher, a Junior High School Principal for 25 years, and a District Athletic Director. He holds a B.A. in History from SUNY Brockport and a Master's in History from SUNY Cortland. He became a permanent resident of Sunset Beach in 2012.
