Michael Harris is a lifelong resident of Las Cruces, aged 37. He graduated from the Las Cruces Public School system and earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University. For over 13 years, he has been the co-founder and owner of a small technology business involved in software development, computer network engineering, and electronics manufacturing. Harris has served on several city boards, including the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Board, the Redistricting Committee, and the Transit Advisory Board. He is also a board member at the non-profit makerspace, Cruces Creatives.
