Michael Johnson is a retired Senior Defense Official and U.S. Army veteran running for the U.S. House to represent Florida's 7th Congressional District. He served in the Army from 1973 to 1976 before embarking on a 33-year career with the Department of Defense, where he focused on reducing wasteful spending and bureaucracy. Johnson holds a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University and a graduate degree from Webster University, and previously ran for Florida State Senate in 2022.
