Michael Lankford, born April 16, 1995, is a Republican serving Tennessee House District 75 since January 2026. A former Montgomery County Commissioner, he was appointed to his current role following a vacancy created by the death of his predecessor. Lankford, who holds degrees from Austin Peay State University and UT Martin, is also a commercial banker. He has notably introduced legislation to require flags to be lowered to half-staff annually on Pearl Harbor Day. Lankford is seeking re-election in 2026, advocating for the values of District 75, which encompasses western Clarksville and Montgomery County. He resides in Clarksville, Tennessee.
