Michael R. Bergan is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Iowa's District 63, serving since 2023, and previously District 55 from 2017. Born in Winneshiek County in 1962 and a Luther College graduate, he is married with two children. His legislative focus includes healthcare decisions, organ donation, tax credits for adoption and child care, and bills addressing trespass, animal regulation, and restrictions on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
