Michael Stoddard, a Libertarian, is running for the U.S. House to represent Utah's 3rd Congressional District in the 2026 general election, having advanced from his party's convention. He previously sought the same seat in 2022. Stoddard retired as a Command Sergeant Major from the U.S. Army in 2019 after 30 years as a Combat Medic and Chief Medical Noncommissioned Officer. He formerly served as National Service Director for the Wounded Warrior Project and is currently a Senior Advisor to the VA Deputy Secretary, continuing his steadfast advocacy for veterans' benefits and care.
