Michael R. White

Michael R. White is a dedicated public servant and Republican candidate running for re-election as a Judge of the Orphans' Court in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Born in 1959, White brings valuable experience to the bench from his extensive professional background as both a local businessman and a retired Maryland State Police detective. White first began his judicial service upon being elected to the Orphans' Court, taking office in December 2014. Because of his commitment to the community and fair handling of probate matters, he was elevated to Chief Judge in March 2019. He continues to draw upon his law enforcement experience to protect the county's most vulnerable citizens.
