Michael Sanford has been a King County resident since 1961 and has lived in SeaTac for over a decade. He served as a Sergeant First Class in the Washington Army National Guard and was the President of the Bow Lake Homeowners Association. He is a small business owner and security advisor. During the pandemic, he led a project to connect homeless individuals with services.
