Mike Suarez is a third-generation Tampa native and President of Suarez Insurance, Inc., with over 30 years in the insurance industry. He served on the Tampa City Council from 2011 to 2019, including a term as Chairman, and also chaired the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART). Suarez has served on the boards of ZooTampa, the Florida Aquarium, and Feeding Tampa Bay. He is running as a Democratic candidate to represent Florida House District 64.
