Michael Webber is the incumbent Michigan State Senator for District 9, assuming office in 2023. A Republican, he previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives for District 45 from 2015 to 2020, where he chaired the Regulatory Reform Committee. Prior to his state legislature service, Webber was a Rochester Hills City Councilman from 2007 to 2014. Outside of public office, he is a licensed insurance agent and holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Michigan State University.
