Michele Brooks is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing District 50 since 2014 [1.4]. She currently serves as chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. Prior to her election to the State Senate, Brooks served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing District 17 from 2007 to 2014. Before entering state politics, she served as a Mercer County Commissioner and a member of the Jamestown Borough Council.
