Michele Johnson Demery is a lifelong resident of Clarendon County, South Carolina, dedicated to public service and education. With nearly three decades of experience as an educator, she currently works as an Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal for the Clarendon County School District in Manning. A family-oriented and God-fearing woman, she is a wife, mother of two sons, and grandmother of three, as well as a proud coach and youth advisor. Demery believes that lasting progress stems from listening, mutual respect, and collaborative effort across all backgrounds and beliefs. She is currently running in the Democratic primary for the South Carolina House of Representatives District 64 in 2026 and previously sought election to the Clarendon County Council District 2.
