Miguel T. Espinoza is an incumbent judge on the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, having been appointed in 2018. Prior to his appointment, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California starting in 2017. From 2008 to 2017, he was a deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County. His earlier career included roles in political campaigns, such as statewide political director for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign (2007-2008) and senior advisor for Antonio Villaraigosa's mayoral campaign (2004-2005). Espinoza earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California School of Law, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
