Mike Barton is a U.S. Army veteran who served for eight years as a practical nursing specialist. Originally from central Arkansas, he moved to Chehalis with his wife and four children after separating from the military in Olympia. He currently works as a health care advocate for Kokua Services, a nonprofit that supports adults with disabilities. In February 2025, Barton was appointed to the Chehalis City Council to fill a vacancy for the District 2 seat.
