Mike Boyett is a Billings native who has served on the Billings City Council for over five years, and as Deputy Mayor for three and a half years. His professional background includes nine years in law enforcement with the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office and 30 years in banking. He also served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Eastern Montana College (now MSU-B). After retiring, he and his brother restored the Northern Hotel in downtown Billings. He has served on numerous boards, including the Big Sky Economic Development Corporation, the Billings Chamber of Commerce, and the Billings Preservation Society.
