Mike Fong was elected to the California State Assembly in a special election in February 2022. He is a lifelong public servant who previously served as a Trustee for the Los Angeles Community College District. His professional experience includes roles with the City of Los Angeles, such as Director of Policy and Government Relations for the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment and East Area Director for a former Los Angeles Mayor. Fong earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Public Administration from California State University at Northridge.
