Mike Hart is a Republican politician and businessman serving as a County Commissioner for District 1 in Calvert County, Maryland. First elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2014, Hart is currently serving his third consecutive term, which began in December 2022. During his tenure on the board, he has held the leadership role of Vice-President. Hart grew up in the area and attended Calvert High School in Prince Frederick. Outside of his public service, he is an entrepreneur with over thirty years of business experience, owning and operating Patuxent Wine & Spirits and Barrel 9 in Lusby, where he resides with his family.
