Mike Meyer served for 37 years in the Air Force and Air National Guard, from 1972 to 2010, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant. In his final role, he was second in command of a Combat Communications Squadron in Spokane. He has been a volunteer firefighter for Spokane County Fire District 3 since 2010. He graduated from high school in Waupaca, Wisconsin, in 1972 and later earned an associate degree in applied electronics from the Air Force.
