Mike Rogers is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 32 in Anne Arundel County. He assumed office on January 9, 2019, and his current term is scheduled to end in January 2027. Prior to his political career, Rogers served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps from 1986 until his retirement as a Colonel in 2015. His military service included deployments to 32 countries, and he is a recipient of the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit. In the legislature, Rogers serves on the Economic Matters Committee. He holds the distinction of being the first Black person to serve as vice chair and later the first Black man to chair the Anne Arundel County Delegation. Rogers also ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2024.
